donations

We do not receive any form of remuneration for our teaching, work and publications (this includes any royalties, translation rights, etc., even in the case of books that come out with commercial publishers).

It is all offered as a gift of Dhamma/Dharma.

The Dharma Drum Institute of Liberal Arts generously provides a hub for our work, a place to live and an office to our director, Bhikkhunī Dhammadinnā.

This is possible thanks to the vision and the generosity of the founder of Dharma Drum Mountain, the late venerable Master Sheng Yen (1930-2009), the Saṅgha and the lay community of Dharma Drum Mountain. All of our remaining costs are crowd-funded by Buddhist donors via the Fundación Bodhiyāna (Argentina).

Our director and co-director, Bhikkhunī Dhammadinnā and Bhikkhu Anālayo, are alms mendicants who live according to the Theravāda monastic rule and lifestyle. They do not possess nor use money. Their livelihood and thereby contribution to the Dhammavinaya/Dharmavinaya, its study and its practice, are thus entirely dependent on the generosity of the lay community.

If you would like to make a donation to support them and/or the research and publications they produce and facilitate, kindly drop us a line at arg.dana@dila.edu.tw. A lay steward will be happy to provide further information on how to proceed.
